how to crack VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University) exams, if u r a five point sm1.....

yesterday the second year results came.... many of my friends and juniors lost another year....

i asked them how they write the exams etc... from what they told me , i knew that they don't know the basic techniques to crack VTU exams....

here are some facts about how the examiners examine answer books.... they have 2 xamine some 200 papers a day. lets hope they do it for about 5 hours a day... that means per answer book gets only about 2 mins..... 2 mins!!!!

yup, thats the time they take 2 correct an answer book of 40 pages.....!!

so, lets think from their point of view..... wht would u have done if you had a book in your hand and only 2 mins 2 correct it......????

obviously, you will just skip thru the pages and if the student has good handwriting , filled a lot of pages, and attended 5 full questions, you will definitely give him 35 marks..... of course, u won't try 2 read all the pages, u just guess that the student has written all correct...., right?

here are some tips 2 help u crack vtu exams....

  1. you should have gone through at least 80-100 marks of the subject (means, u must have a basic concept about 100 marks, that's all), so that u can attend all the 5 questions( 100 marks) & write something that's related to the subject....

  2. you must attend all 5 full questions,no matter what you know or what u don't know.... ( more questions you attend, the examiner is forced to think " this sucker seems to know something, i'l hmmmm make hip pass, poor chap " :)

  3. you must & must fill at least 25 pages of the book with this 5 full questions.... its all about the pages, buddy... this is VTU...!! THE MORE THE PAGES, THE MORE CHANCES U WILL PASS...!!!

  4. be in good relation with the lecturers and particularly, the HOD.... its important that u must have 15 marks internal... cos, examiners will sometimes make u pass (even if u didn't write anything, based on the pages ) and will give u 35 (minimum pass mark), reckoning that u have 15 marks internal.... got it? so its ur social contacts & the way u behave with the lecturers that will fetch you this free 15 marks....

so, that's it.... follow these steps, and i can guarantee you a pass....

all the best, do well

job hunt is tiring...

i stay in tumkur... some 70 kms away from bangalore...
so a trip will take 3 hrs in bus( ticket- 42 rs) & by local train it takes 2 hrs (12 rs)... so i'd rather prefer going by train.... but train arrives @ 7.15, the station is 4 kms away from where i live... so if i'm 2 go 2 banglore, i've 2 wake up early(by 6 am), get ready and reach the station by 7, stand in queue for buying tickets....its not so easy 4 me(i usually get up at8am)
i did this for 3 days in a row from tuesday....
day 1. i found a consultency & registered myself for 500 rs. they told 2 come next day...
day 2. i went, but interview was on next day.
day 3. i went 2 majestic, boarded a volvo 2 the whitefeild, which was 28 kms away from central... and the volvo ticket cost me 55/-... and when i reached the company, i was told thet they are not taking freshers... just imagine how fished up i'l be.... i'm quite exhausted......

i love Tumkur

tumkur, this is the place i've spend my last 4 years.... and i love this place,it just feels like home....
its quite different from my village in kerala....
,in tumkur ppl are always busy in their work...
ppl here are very friendly too...
thats why i'm back 2 tumkur..... i feel myself here...
how can i forget the place that i lived for the past 4 yrs...
the streets of SIT, the strong tea of Narayan tea shop, busy back gate, the ice cold mornings, the cool afternoons & the beautiful evenings....
you won't feel bored in here... when i came here 4 years ago, i hated this place, it took a couple of years 4 me to look into the cool side of tumkur.... the food here, though, is not so tasty....

morbid mentality of kerala politicians

Hmmm... I was simply wasting time today... I'm becoming okay now. I'm thinking of doing lots of things tomorrow like posting some applications and things like that. Leave it...

i read some stories in ' chicken soup for the college soul' mind you,its very good... Very inspiring stories... There were stories about receiving the degree in a convocation,i wish i could do like that.... And i wish my mom will be there to see it... It will be nice...
I saw "santosh subramaniam" the movie today, its a very good movie ,i think the best after boys... A very good story and acting is good... I'm a jayam ravi fan now... Tamil film industry is growing very fast, but malayalam is still like old times... I think that films represent the mindset of the majority of people in a particular region, like kerala and TN... So that makes tamilians very modern and ambitious... And mallus morbid and pessimist... I really don't like the mentality of politicians in kerala, they are killing the future of kerala, they are not at all allowing any foreign industries to step in kerala... I just can't believe that TN got BMW factory, which was to come in kerala... God help these people... This is the main reason why i don't want to look for job in kerala... Grow up people.,before its too late...
